Overview
TimberEscapes provides bespoke garden buildings in Fleet, Camberley, Farnham and the surrounding areas.
Over the past year the demand to create additional space has increased. In today’s world, with technology and communications a garden room allows from remote office working to running a business.
But the space isn’t just for desks and computers, it can be used for gyms, meditation rooms, clinics and beauty therapy. Anything that needs a space outside of your home a garden room can fit your needs.
The advantage of these solutions, is that when you close the door and end the day there is a divide between work and home life and creating a work life balance.
Whilst many may think that a garden room is just a box, they can be configured to create the space you need, with internal rooms, bathrooms and kitchens that can be used all year around.
About Us
Timber Escapes is part of the The Houghton Lewis Group and has many years’ experience covering all aspects of building, including new luxury houses, extensions and refurbishment.
Simon and Tim formed Houghton Lewis with the philosophy to create a building company that gave a superior experience to clients and a reputation to rival those who have been operating for a much longer duration. Over the past year there has been an increase in demand for Garden Rooms and Timber Escapes is a natural extension of the brand.
Timber Escapes pride themselves in the quality of their work, which is a result of the culture they have built within the business. This is replicated across all the staff and sub-contractors used to create a professional and respectful team.
Price Guide
At TimberEscapes we have two product structures Enhanced and Deluxe which reflect the overall size of the garden room. With both structures the below comes at standard.
Reinforced concrete base is included in our standard package based on a level surface and access for a digger. Any removal of existing bases is not included.
Internal Floor - 18mm exterior ply
Timber Floor - 18mm OSB ply board on 100 x 50mm pressure treated floor joists and incorporating 75mm rigid insulation.
Wall Construction - 100mm x 50mm section timber with breathable membrane with 100mm loft roll insulation and clad with 90mm x 18mm Cedar tongue and groove board.
Roof - One piece EPDM single membrane rubber roof on 18mm exterior OSB plyboard on 150mm x 50mm roof timbers incorporating insulation, plaster boarded and internally skimmed.
Internal Finish - Ceilings and walls: 12mm plaster boarded and plaster skimmed. Skirting board and architrave fitted
Fascia Boards - Black UPVC profiled fascia board.
Electrical Fittings - Standard electrical connection to your existing supply by our fully qualified and registered electrician included.
